The planning behind Maximus's Nursery
Interior Designer (Christine Julian) helped me come up with a concept for my son's nursery room. I wanted something that was unique, inspiring and most of all went along with my son's name Maximus. And when you hear the name Maximus, most people recognize the name from the movie "Gladiator" and the origin name is from the Latin language meaning "The Greatest."

Inspired by a Roman pool my first step towards the nursery room was the wall colors. Colors that we choose were royal blue, sky blue, white and metallic gold.

The hardest step to completing the nursey was the bedding. It was really hard to find a classic baby bedding that wasn't out of my price range.
I saved this image of bedding that I admired and from there I had help from my interior designer (Christine Julian) to recreate the look of the bedding. First step was choosing the fabrics and pattern.
And from there the sewing project begins

The nursery is complete, the baby had arrived and the room is fit for a king! The blues are relaxing and calm.
